Flat back studs are seriously so amazing- especially for side sleepers, headphone users, and anyone that likes to keep their jewelry in for months at a time! Because of their unique flat back design they are actually comfortable to sleep in, as they don't poke the back of your head. They can be worn in just about any type of ear piercing, and are all hypoallergenic and nickel free- which makes them safe for new piercings and for those with skin sensitivity too. They are also tarnish proof and waterproof so you can them for months at a time, including in the shower and in the pool!

We especially recommend these earrings for 2nd and 3rd lobe piercings, mid and helix piercings, as well as forward and flat piercings! **How to Put in Flat Backs: Unscrew the front piece from the flat back post. Take the flat back post and push it through the BACK of your piercing. Once the post is peeking through the front of your piercing, carefully take the front piece and place it into the post opening and twist it clockwise. Keep twisting until the front piece is screwed all the way into the post to make sure it's secure!
